The Slavic Heritage Coalition hopes to renew efforts in the areas of trading and commerce between the United States and countries of Slavic descent. The SHC also hopes to encourage focus on domestic Slavic-owned businesses.
In 2002, the Trade Promotion Authority act (TPA) was passed which enables the United States to get involved further with future international trade. The implementation of TPA will bring about global prosperity and increase economic benefits. The TPA will require a mutual effort between the United States and the country with which it is working in conjunction with.
With the enforcement of the TPA, the SHC aims to stimulate economic growth between the United States and Slavic countries.
