The Slavic Heritage Coalition hopes to promote and create an identity between members of Slavic American communities that will prove beneficial to both Slavic individuals and their organizations.  Results from our survey will help us identify individual characteristics of each Slavic community/.  This type of recognition will grant us the authority to stand behind our beliefs, proving that Slavic American communities deserve a voice.

In addition to gathering information about Slavic-American communities in general, we are seeking to gather specific information, which with analysis, will let us judge how Slavic Communities react to issues that concern everyone.  For instance, we hope to help in areas such as:

• Health Care—we are interested in assessing whether or not Slavic-Americans share similar issues regarding health care, whether they have the same concerns and questions and have access to information regarding  health care and social services support, that other minorities have.
